Commercial Use
What you can do with Algrow data, what needs permission, and how to credit Algrow.
Commercial Use & Attribution
You can build products on Algrow data. This page tells you what you can do without asking, what needs written permission from Algrow, and how to credit Algrow.
These rules apply to the REST API and to the MCP server. They cover all research and data endpoints: channel search, channel data, daily analytics, YouTube search, viral videos, thumbnail search, collabs, monetization and the YouTube scraper.
Allowed Without Asking
- Your own work. Internal tools, personal projects and automation for your own team.
- Your own product, for your signed-in users. A user asks for data and your product shows the result to that user. You must credit Algrow as shown below.
Needs Written Permission From Algrow
- Public pages. Showing Algrow data on pages that anyone can open without signing in. Examples are directories, leaderboards, rankings and public channel pages.
- Passing the data on. Serving Algrow data through your own API, MCP server, feed, export or download.
- Building a copy. Keeping Algrow data for more than 24 hours, or refreshing a fixed list of channels on a schedule to build your own database.
- Selling the data. Selling Algrow data, or a dataset made from it, in any form.
How to get permission: email support@algrow.online with your product, your API key name and how you will show the data. We decide case by case. Permission is often free when you credit Algrow as shown below.
How to Credit Algrow
- A linked label. Show a visible “Powered by Algrow” label on every page or screen that shows Algrow data. The label must link to algrow.online. A label without a link does not count.
- Public pages. If you have permission to publish, also put the label in your site header or top bar, next to the stats, and on each channel with a link to that channel on Algrow.
- API and MCP output. If you have permission to pass the data on, each record must carry the label and a link to Algrow. Your tool descriptions must say that the statistics come from Algrow.
- Normal links. Do not mark the links
nofollow. If we give you a ref code, keep it on every link.
Do not present Algrow data as your own. If you break these rules, we can revoke your API keys and close your account without a refund. We check how every key is used, and we can match a public site to the key that feeds it.
Voices, text-to-speech and media generation follow the terms of their providers, not this page.
